XR4ED Contributed to the European Dialogue on Quality and Sustainable Education
XR4ED participated in the webinar “Shaping the Future of Quality & Sustainable Education: The Impact of EU Projects,” which took place on 7 October 2025, in the context of UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).
Representing XR4ED, Nuria Pelechano (UPC – Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) took part in the roundtable discussion, sharing insights from the XR4ED project on how Extended Reality (XR) and responsible innovation can support inclusive, high-quality, and sustainable education systems across Europe.
The webinar brought together representatives of EU-funded projects to discuss how research and innovation initiatives translate high-level European education policies into real-world impact. Discussions focused on digital transformation, accessibility, and long-term sustainability in education, highlighting the role of emerging technologies in addressing systemic challenges.
XR4ED’s contribution reinforced the project’s commitment to advancing ethically grounded XR solutions, strong pedagogical frameworks, and alignment with European and global education priorities.
